Hello Everyone,
I recently went to Canberra for a short work trip. I thought I would share some on the things I got upto while I was there.
I have always been fascinated by coins so it was always on my bucket list visit the Royal Australian Mint in Canberra and this trip I go the chance you go. It was extra exciting as they had a Mr Squiggle exhibition there when I went. He was one of my favorite cartoons as a child. I also got to see onto the manufacturing floor where you can see all the different stages of coin making. https://www.ramint.gov.au/

We also visited the National Arboretum Canberra. Which has endangered and symbolic trees from around Australia and the world. They also have a National Bonsai and Penjing which had some amazing plants and history of each plant. They have a small café and gift store inside where you can look out onto the beautiful rolling hills.

I have been to Canberra a few times with work over the last 6 years and I have always found something fun and exciting to do. I think everyone thinks a Canberra as a small place so there isn’t much to do but I think you just need to look in the right places and there is always something.
Anyway hope you enjoyed my small post.
