Self isolation…

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all staying safe at home. 2020 has turned out to be a challenging year so far, But better times are coming.

Today I wanted to give you 5 things to do while we are at home in isolation.

Number 1

Go through your wardrobe. Try on all your clothes to determine if it still fits you and if you still like the item. Put all the clothes you don’t want into a bag and next time you go to the shopping center stop at one of the charity bins. Or put them aside till this is all over.

Number 2

Start a puzzle. I recently purchased an Aladdin puzzle from http//:www.catch.com.au. It’s only a 300 piece because I don’t have a great track record with finishing large puzzle. Once you have finished your puzzle you can always glue it together and put it in a frame. That’s what I’m planing to do with mine.

Number 3

Learn a new language. I have recently started to learn French with the help of an App called Duolingo. It is a simple and fun way to start learning. The App has 35 different languages to choose from. I would love to go back to France and be able to say more then Oui Oui (maybe after all this is over). https://www.duolingo.com

Number 4

Start a new hobbies. Watch YouTube tutorials to learn how to knit or crochet. The only thing I can knit is a scarf and I always drop stitches but I have always wanted to learn how to crochet never had the time or patience.

if you are more into Crafts check out https://www.spotlightstores.com/ I recently discovered they have on online store. I have made a small order and I will show you all on my Insta (DanniZahra) what I have ordered once they come.

Number 5

Read all the books you bought and have never had the time to finish. I recently went through my book shelf and realized I have about 5 books the I have bought or was gifted that I haven’t even started yet.

Reading give you a chance to escape our world and visit the world that the author has created. So go through your book shelf and find your new adventure.

If you are too busy to sit down and read a book Audible is great, I have been listening to a book while I do the washing or even while i’m working from home. It is great while you are home alone and the house is just too quite. https://www.audible.com.au/

They also have free books at the moment for kids https://stories.audible.com/start-listen this is great to keep the little ones entertained.
